LOS ANGELES (September 5, 2025) – Bethel Music’s Zahriya Zachary has released her latest single “Shine n Me” featuring fellow worship leader Edward Rivera. Accompanied by a new music video, the joyful anthem invites the light and life of Jesus into every moment. The song is now available on all major streaming platforms. Listen to “Shine On Me” here and watch the music video here.

“Shine On Me” is a fresh, pop-influenced track celebrating the joy of leaving behind the heaviness and darkness of life and embracing the freedom and rest found in the easy yoke of Jesus. The single features Bethel Music’s beloved Edward Rivera, an LA-native who joined the collective in 2021 after years of extensive touring and collaborating with notable worship leaders. The blend of Zachary and Rivera’s vocals creates a powerful worship anthem anchored in the ultimate peace found in Jesus.

Says Zachary, “I’ve wrestled with anxiety for most of my life, so realizing that when I encounter the presence of Jesus – when I step into His peace and His light – it changes everything. I don’t have to escape into a daydream anymore. She continues, “For me, I spend a lot of time in my head creating safe places with the Lord. ‘Shine On Me’ is about realizing those daydreams don’t have to stay in my head – they can actually be my reality. I get to live in peace, joy, and harmony with Him. And honestly, following Jesus is just really fun."

Zachary made her Bethel Music debut on “Homecoming” (2021), leading the song “Back to Life” and joining Brian Johnson on “Hymn of Heaven.” Most recently, she led “If The Lord (Live)” on Bethel Music’s 2025 compilation album, “We Must Respond.” She also led “Surrounded By Holy” on “Come Up Here” (2023), releasing an acoustic EP version of the same. In addition, her debut solo single, “Simple Ways” (2022), reflects on the often-overlooked joys found in daily life.

This latest offering follows the release of Zachary’s recent single, “Better Than I Thought” (2025) with more music expected later this year.

About Zahriya Zachary:

Born and raised in Spring, Texas, Zahriya Zachary didn’t come from a musical family, but her love for music began at the early age of six while learning to play the piano. She began leading worship when she was a freshman in college when she felt that the Lord told her it was time to begin her journey into worship. Throughout her time in college, she began volunteering on her church’s worship team, while the Lord was teaching her more about what it means to have a worshiper’s heart. Zahriya believes that worship is the place where we belong, and her prayer is that she would help lead people to the feet of Jesus.

About Bethel Music:

Bethel Music is a worship movement pursuing the presence of God and capturing fresh expressions of worship out of Redding, California. Bethel Music has grown from a local church music ministry to an internationally renowned collective of songwriters, artists, and musicians. Brian and Jenn Johnson co-founded the movement in 2001 to raise up worshippers, take hold of their true identities, and pursue intimacy with God, above all else.

Since 2001, Bethel Music has released 27 albums, including their most recent live worship album, We Must Respond (2025), Moments: Wait (2024), Simple (2022), Homecoming (Live) (2021), Revival’s In The Air (Live)(2020), and many more. Each album carries a unique theme and features some of the most well-recognized artists in the genre. Bethel Music was also GRAMMY® nominated for the song “Holy Forever” feat. Jenn Johnson and CeCe Winans, and in 2024, won the Dove award for “Holy Forever” for “Best Song of the Year.” In 2021, the label was nominated for six Dove Awards, and another 11 in 2022, spanning across categories like “Songwriter of the Year,” “Worship Album of the Year,” and “Inspirational and Rock/Contemporary Song of the Year.” Additionally, the worship collective recently earned three 2025 Dove Award nominations – two for We Must Respond (Live) in the categories of Worship Album of the Year and Recorded Music Packaging of the Year, and one for “Christmas Morning” in the Christmas/Special Event Album of the Year category.

Since forming, Bethel Music has broken records, ranking in CCLI's Top 25 songs since 2013. Their song, “Goodness of God,” was ranked #1 for over three years. “This Is Amazing Grace” has ranked in the Top 25 songs since 2014; “No Longer Slaves” since 2016; and “The Lion and the Lamb” since 2017. In addition, “Reckless Love” has appeared in the Top 10 since 2018, and “Living Hope” in the Top 10 since 2019. Hitting a new stride over the last few years, Bethel Music has continually ranked at #6 in the Top 10 radio market share. See more at https://bethelmusic.com/.
