KILLEEN, TEXAS Charis Music, the worship collective of Charis Church, announces the release of their latest single, Pressing Through, available Friday, September 5, on all major streaming platforms.
Inspired by the story of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5, Pressing Through gives voice to the desperation, determination, and raw faith it takes to reach Jesus when everything else has failed. The sound of the song unfolds like the story itself, beginning in quiet tension, building with pulsing rhythms, and carrying listeners on a journey of faith that refuses to quit. At its climax, the bridge declares: “Jesus is healing now, He’s walking through the crowd. Your faith turned Him around, there is no doubt.”
Charis Music is marked by a Spirit-driven sound that blends the freshness of contemporary worship with the depth of gospel. Rooted in biblical songwriting and carrying a prophetic edge, their songs create space for encounters that awaken faith, stir the Church, and call believers to minister to Jesus on a deeper level.
“Pressing Through is more than a song. It is an anthem of breakthrough and healing,” says worship pastor, songwriter, and producer Hailey Trevino, who leads Charis Music alongside her husband, Gabriel Trevino.
Trevino, who was featured at age 17 on Travis Greene’s Crossover album, has spent her career producing and writing across multiple genres while serving as a worship pastor at Charis Church. With Charis Music, she carries the testimonies of her local church into songs that are impacting lives far beyond Killeen, Texas.
Charis Church is a Kingdom movement located beside Fort Cavazos, one of the largest Army bases in the world. The church serves as a spiritual home for military families, young adults, children, and people from every walk of life. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, Charis is committed to carrying Jesus into every room, realm, and region of the earth.
