Shippensburg, PA – This past weekend, Uprise Festival, one of the largest and longest-running Christian music festivals in North America, celebrated its 20th anniversary as thousands of festival attendees gathered for the 20th annual festival in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
“We don’t want to just come to a rock concert,” said festival founder Scott Brown when speaking to festival attendees. “We want to be a light.”
This special 20th anniversary celebration featured three days of music and special experiences across three stages with a lineup of artists that included Phil Wickham, Skillet, Zach Williams, Elevation Rhythm, KB, Hulvey, Lacey Sturm, and many others spanning a wide range of Christian music genres. The festival also featured a wide variety of vendors, kids’ activities, a 5K race, special experiences and more during the three days.
“For the last 20 years, people have been coming to know Jesus, finding God for the first time and have been encouraged in their faith….” said Phil Wickham on the final night when speaking about the festival. “Isn’t it amazing what happens when we step in with faith to the calling that God has given us?”
Uprise Festival will return next year on September 11-12, 2026. More information can be found at UpriseFest.com.
