Legendary Christian alternative rock band The Choir has announced plans for their 20th studio album, Dragonfly, arriving in celebration of the group’s 40th anniversary.
The project, described as their “most ambitious to date,” will be a double CD and double vinyl release featuring 20 brand-new songs.
The band first debuted with Voices in Shadows back in 1985, and four decades later, they’re looking to mark the milestone with a collection that feels both “poetic and apropos.”
To make the project a reality, The Choir will launch a Kickstarter campaign on October 7, 2025. Funds raised will go toward recording, mixing, mastering, packaging, vinyl and CD production, cover art, marketing, and shipping.
The band shared:
“Your generosity has had a direct personal impact on each of us. Thank you for carrying our songs in your hearts for decades! We ride once again… or one last time. No one knows. Four decades and still chasing beauty with you.”
Fans can visit the Kickstarter pre-launch page now and click “Notify Me On Launch” to be alerted the moment the campaign goes live.
