Andrew Schwab, frontman and creative force behind Project 86, has officially announced that OMNI, Pt. 3 is on the way.
In a new newsletter to fans, Schwab revealed that what began as the final chapter of Project 86 has evolved into something entirely new — a continuation of the OMNI saga under the banner P86:OMNI.
“When I set out to end Project 86, the decision was motivated by two things,” Schwab explained. “I felt creatively spent... and I felt like the ‘Schwab shout’ was reaching the end of its lifespan. I needed to go in a completely new direction.”
That new direction took shape with OMNI, a darker, heavier, and more narrative-driven project that explored sci-fi themes and aggressive new sounds. But rather than closing the book, the process inspired Schwab to keep going.
“I realized we weren't making the last Project 86 album. The last Project 86 album was Sheep Among Wolves. This was the organic birth of something new and much more exciting for me.”
Schwab confirmed plans for a new album — twelve tracks in total — and another novel, both continuing the OMNI storyline. The project is targeting a Fall 2026 release, with a crowdfunding campaign launching mid-November and a revamped Patreon to follow.
“If you liked the double album, we are going to be requesting your support to fund this next cycle,” he shared. “Look for a brand new long-lead preorder crowdfund coming mid-November… and we’ll have a taste of the new music very soon.”
Fans can expect more details — including official preorder dates and artwork previews — in the weeks ahead.
