NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 14, 2025–Celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, Christian publisher and music company Cook Media Global announced today the acquisition of Fair Trade Services, the leading independent record label in the faith-based market. The acquisition—which includes all of Fair Trade’s music recordings, song publishing, workforce and catalog—continues to establish Cook Media Global as a leading provider of music and resources for the global Church.
Cook Media Global has a proven history of acquiring and developing long-standing Christian companies, including Integrity Music in 2011, Standard Publishing in 2015, and Group Publishing in 2024. Fair Trade will become an independent subsidiary of Cook Media Global on October 31, 2025.
Fair Trade, which has been in business for more than 25 years, represents some of today’s top artists and worship leaders, including Phil Wickham, MercyMe, CeCe Winans, Micah Tyler, Colton Dixon and more. Established in 1999 as INO Records by founder and CEO Jeff Moseley, Fair Trade has a diverse roster with multiple Grammy and Dove Award-winning artists, gold-certified and platinum-certified songs and albums, and numerous No. 1 radio hits.
“I am beyond excited for this new chapter in the lives of our artists and employees," said Moseley. "Cook Media Global, under the leadership of Bill Reeves in particular, shares the same heartbeat as Fair Trade and I can't imagine a better place to lay the foundations for the future.”
“Cultural and theological alignment are absolutely essential for a successful acquisition,” said Cook Media Global CEO, Bill Reeves. “Fair Trade shares our passion and commitment to making Jesus known through media—whether it be music specifically, or other formats. Fair Trade’s success speaks to the talent, diligence and creativity of their artists and teams, and we are eager to have them join the Cook Media Global family so together we can reach even more people with the gospel.”
Fair Trade will continue to work out of Brentwood, Tenn., in its current office space, for which Cook Media Global has signed a long-term lease.
“Fair Trade will continue to operate the way we always have; with a flexible and nimble mindset," said Moseley. “With Cook Media Global committed to investing in the future growth of Fair Trade, I have the utmost confidence that this move will greatly benefit our artists and staff and will increase our impact and opportunities to share meaningful music with people around the world.”
“We are excited to welcome Jeff and his leadership team of Darren Elrod and James Rueger, along with the entire Fair Trade staff,” said Reeves. “Their reputation for serving and supporting artists and management teams is among the best in the industry.”
Fair Trade complements the work and impact of Cook Media Global’s existing ministries, including Group Publishing—whose leading vacation Bible school programs shepherd the younger generations; David C Cook—whose discipleship resources are distributed in more than 100 languages worldwide and include popular titles and curriculums like The Action Bible, The Chosen Bible study series, and Standard Lesson Commentary, as well as books by best-selling authors like J. Warner Wallace and Francis Chan; and Integrity Music—with artists and worship leaders like Matt Redman, Israel Houghton, Paul Baloche, Alexander Pappas and more, who create songs that magnify the name of Jesus.
Blaine Barcus will remain president of Integrity Music and lead the label and song publishing divisions. Integrity Music and Fair Trade will operate as separate entities under Cook Media Global. High-resolution logos are available to download here.
