Capitol Christian Music Group artist Jamie MacDonald announces her self-titled debut album, ‘Jamie MacDonald,’ set to release on January 23, 2026. The project introduces a collection of songs rooted in honesty, faith, and healing, showcasing MacDonald’s heart for connecting with listeners through authentic storytelling.
“For over a decade, I’ve held onto God’s promise that I would one day write songs that would first heal me, and then bring healing to others. That time is now,” shares MacDonald. “Through writing and singing these songs, I’ve felt shame break off, fear fade, and my heart soften as walls come down. Now that I’m walking in that promised healing, I'm ready to see the other part fulfilled which is bringing that same hope and healing to others. Grateful for it all and excited to see it all unfold. All for His glory.”

“For many years I have struggled to find my voice and the courage to share it,” says MacDonald. “I feel like this is my comeback song and a declaration after years of silence and fear. God has put a new song in my mouth and I won’t be silent. I’m so excited for people to hear this vibey tune.”
MacDonald’s growing list of accomplishments reflects her impact within Christian music. Her single “Desperate” spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard and Mediabase Christian AC charts, earning her a Dove Award nomination and three K-LOVE Fan Award nominations, including Song of the Year. A reimagined version of “Desperate” featuring GRAMMY® winner Lauren Daigle continues to reach new audiences.
This year, MacDonald will appear as a special guest on Chris Tomlin’s “Christmas with Chris Tomlin Tour” and will join Phil Wickham and Tauren Wells on tour in 2026. For tour dates, pre-orders, and more information, visitwww.jamiemacdonaldmusic.com
