Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee and Journey band member Jonathan Cain releases his first solo song in three years, “No One Else,” a tribute to his longtime friend Charlie Kirk who was assassinated last month. Available at digital and streaming outlets everywhere today (Oct. 24) from The Fuel Music through https://slinky.to/NoOneElseJonathanCain, the song celebrates Kirk’s legacy and the mission he so passionately pursued — not as a political statement, but as a musical expression of respect and gratitude.
Planning to donate all the proceeds from the single to Turning Point USA, the non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Kirk, Cain and his wife, Paula White-Cain, first met Kirk when he was 22, crossing paths with him many times over the years.
“Charlie started out as a political activist and ended up as an evangelist, tackling the questions of social problems of the youth today,” says Cain. “With ‘No One Else,’ I wanted to leave something that framed that story. Music has always been how I express what words alone cannot, and I think everything he did – he was so full of hope, energy and positivity – is worth singing about. I want this song to sort of echo his movement, leaving something behind that musically speaks to what his movement is about.
“‘No One Else’ is also a pastor appreciation song,” adds Cain. “Charlie became one of the biggest evangelists since Billy Graham. There's nobody like him that had such a profound effect taking the message of Jesus and conservatism to the younger generation. It was an extraordinary achievement.”
(Chorus)
No one else… reached generations
Could heal with truth and conversation
Setting all differences aside
No one else…could question hate
Turn hearts and minds with true debate
From the battle our nation will arise
Faithful servant, you’ve done well
No one else
Jonathan Cain - No One Else (Official Lyric Video) A Tribute To Charlie Kirk
Produced by Cain, mixed by David Kalmusky and mastered by GRAMMY Award-winning Adam Ayan, “No One Else” was recorded at Addiction Sound Studios in Nashville and is the first of much more new music to come from Cain in 2026.
Along with his solo music, Cain and his band, Journey, are planning an extensive tour to begin in major markets nationally in 2026. A Chicago native, like Kirk, Cain has spent decades pouring out his musical gifts in front of huge audiences.
