He has gifted his fans with an engaging, six-track set of original Christmas songs that are bound to raise the temperature no matter how cold and frightful the weather outside may be. The set opens with the Island groove “Christmas Joy” that recalls Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s Hawaiian rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” The title cut is a discordant collab with singer on the rise Franchesca. “Leh, We Go Tell It” is a percussive, danceable Afrobeat that calls cities and countries around the globe to come together ro celebrate the Jesus birth. “Christmas Drip” is a Caribbean Pop groove about dressing up for the holiday. Gardner also celebrates holiday romance on the Reggae-styled “Wrap Me Up” and the ballad “With You” where he thanks God for his new love.
