CCM legend Steve Taylor has just announced a new upcoming Spring 2026 tour teaming the artist with a fellow legend, Russ Taff. "The [Almost] Farewell Tour" is expected to be one of the last - if not the last - runs from Taff, and will feature full sets from both artists.

Here are some more details from Steve, posted today to previous Kickstarter backers:

Why just the West Coast? Our intrepid promoter Martin Media would love to add additional US dates next fall if the tour does well. (No pressure, West Coasters...)

Will Kickstarter backers get special treatment? That's the plan, but we're still working it out with the venues and promoter.

What can I expect from the show? A magical evening of full sets from both Russ and Steve, showcasing all their eras and backed by the exquisite Some Band (players to be announced in a future posting).

Will members of The Perfect Foil be playing in Some Band? Yes.

Which ones? Stay tuned.

Why is it called the "[Almost] Farewell Tour"? Because Russ hates goodbyes. And he loves brackets.
