Two-time GRAMMY Nominee and Gold selling artist Blessing Offor kicks off 2026 as the new voice for TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle. The new theme song, “We’re Shining,” is an upbeat earworm that captures the lively positive energy both Jenna and Sheinelle bring to weekday mornings. Speaking about the new theme Jenna shared, “He’s an amazing friend and the fact that he would give his time for us means so much.” Watch the debut of “We’re Shinning” HERE and every weekday on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle on NBC during the 10 am local hour.
Blessing’s connection with the pair goes deep. In September 2025, during an emotional on-air conversation, Sheinelle opened up about coping with the death of her husband earlier in the year. She shared that Jenna had sent her Blessing’s song “Brighter Days,” which brought her comfort during this tragic time in her life. During the segment, Sheinelle explained that the song helped her find love through the pain.
Blessing shares, “I remember when I got the text from Jenna asking if I’d consider writing and recording the theme song for Jenna & Sheinelle; I was so excited and honored. The joy they embody is easy to capture because it’s so real and genuine. I’m still pinching myself that this is happening!”

2025 was a year filled with highlights and personal firsts for Blessing. It began with performances at Stagecoach Festival and CMA Fest followed by the highly anticipated release of his sophomore album Real. Blessing performed twice on TODAY and then made his UK television debut as part of BBC1’s Festival of Remembrance performing his newly Gold-Certified single “Brighter Days” with members of the Royal Family in attendance and continued his introduction overseas with an appearance on Britain’s Channel4 Sunday Brunch. To close out the year, Blessing had the distinct honor of taking part in a tribute to Sylvester Stallone at the 48th Annual Kennedy Center Honors performing “The Final Bell” on piano with legendary composer Bill Conti conducting the esteemed Kennedy Center Orchestra.
Since the debut of his album My Tribe, two-time GRAMMY® nominee and multi-award winner Blessing Offor has established himself as an artist’s artist with a voice as bright and authentic as his personality. The album’s lead single, “Brighter Days” earned him his first RIAA Gold Certification and his duet, “The Goodness” with TobyMac, became his first #1. Blessing was then named 2023’s Amazon Music Breakthrough Artist and Pandora Artist to Watch and appeared on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Kelly Clarkson and The Jennifer Hudson Show. His long-awaited sophomore album, Real (2025), was created during a season of profound loss for Blessing, emotional wounds that led to 16 deeply personal songs. The album features singles “Jordans,” and “Somebody’s Child” with Dolly Parton. He punctuated the moment with two performances on Today with Jenna & Friends including his single “Lift Me Up” which has been streamed over 10 million times to date. Real is now available worldwide, and you can find him on tour here.
