Christian singer-songwriter Daniel Mulkey has released his new single, “Pass It On,” now available on all major streaming platforms. Written from the perspective of a young father, Pass It On was born out of a quiet moment shortly after the birth of Mulkey’s son — a moment filled with questions, humility, and prayer.

“I remember holding him and asking God, What do I pass on?” Mulkey shares. “At 22 years old, I didn’t feel like I had life figured out. I felt like a kid myself.”

Rather than focusing on achievement or success, Pass It On centers on the belief that faith, character, and love are the most meaningful things a parent can leave behind. The song reflects Mulkey’s journey of balancing work, family, and calling — and the realization that providing materially means little if it costs presence and purpose.

“In prayer, I felt God impress on my heart, As long as you pass on a love for Me, you’ve given him everything he’ll ever need,” Mulkey says. “That moment changed how I view fatherhood and success.”

The song has already connected powerfully with audiences in live settings. In November, Mulkey performed Pass It On live at The Forum in Rome, Georgia, opening for CROWDER, sharing the story behind the song before delivering an acoustic performance that resonated deeply with the crowd.
