She still recalls sensing what she describes as the glimmer of the Lord’s voice while singing as a child, a moment that set her on a path from her Minnesota hometown to New York City, where she graduated early with a BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her early career unfolded in theater and pop music, with high-profile performances at venues like Madison Square Garden and the Xcel Energy Center, and singles that brought growing attention. Yet beneath the outward momentum, she found herself searching for worth in roles, applause, and achievement.

That search came to a halt in 2020, when Honey entered recovery for addiction and eating disorders and chose sobriety on July 5 of that year. What followed was not just personal healing, but a profound spiritual realignment. She came to understand that while she believed God had called her to sing, He was ultimately calling her to worship. Today, Honey serves as a Worship Leader throughout the Twin Cities, using her voice not to chase validation, but to testify to the freedom she has found in Christ.
