NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Sinner to Saint, the highly anticipated full-length debut from Pure Mosaic Records singer/songwriter and worship leader Amanda Janson, is set for release February 27. Produced by Nick Lewkowski and showcasing 10 tracks co-penned by Janson, the album balances beauty and brokenness chronicling the powerhouse vocalist’s journey from despair to freedom.
Infectious pop opener “Wild Ones” is a celebration of surrender. Imbued with cathartic fervor, the track introduces an autobiographical throughline for Sinner to Saint as Janson proclaims, “Radically bold and untamed/Risk it all for His name/Revolutionaries of grace/Here’s to the wild ones.”
"This album was born in a season that felt unbearably heavy, where faking my faith wasn’t an option anymore," Janson shares. "That season pushed me to bring my whole, unfiltered self to God and He met me there. Writing and recording this project became my way of healing out loud."
“Sinner to Saint is written as a journey,” she adds. “It starts in tension, doubt and broken places then slowly walks toward surrender, healing and identity in Christ. Each song feels like a step forward, showing that transformation isn’t instant...but a real journey with God. It’s honest about the process, not just the outcome.”
A stirring centerpiece of the album, “Where the Warfare Ends” is among Janson’s most personal songs to date. Penned by Janson, Katie Rios, Nick Lewkowski, and Ryan Hall, the track was inspired by a life-changing message God impressed upon Janson’s heart in a moment of desperation. “‘Where the Warfare Ends’ was written about the darkest season of my life, when the noise, fear, and my inner battles felt relentless," she explains. "In that place, God spoke words over me I’ll never forget. It was the truth that cut through the darkness and became the foundation of the song. It was the sound of His voice becoming louder than the battle.”
Additional highlights of Sinner to Saint include the title cut, a potent anthem of gratitude and grace; “No Dark Corners,” an emotive ballad clinging to the power of God's promises in troubled times; and the hope-drenched “Soul Song,” written in the midst of a serious health challenge Janson’s husband faced.
“My journey shows that doubt, struggle, and your past don’t disqualify you—they’re often where God meets us most,” she concludes. “And if He was patient and faithful with me in the middle of the mess, He’ll be the same with anyone walking through it now. I pray this album is proof that there’s Hope, even when life and faith feel fragile.”
