Today, two-time GRAMMY Nominee Blessing Offor is celebrating his Gold certified single “Brighter Days” with a special reimagined version. Dubbed “Brighter Days (New Day Edition)” the pop infused track encapsulates the spirit of the original hit with a new depth of instrumentation that makes the song feel larger than life. “Brighter Days (New Day Edition)” is now available HERE
“‘Brighter Days” has been such a massive song for me and keeps impacting people,” shares Blessing. “I got together with my musical brother and Grammy Award winning composer/producer Max Starks to help reimagine the song, and I’m excited to put it into the world in a way that I think will get to even more people.”
Earlier this week, Blessing debuted “Brighter Days (New Day Edition)” on TODAY with Jenna & Shienelle, creating a full circle moment that began in September 2025. During an emotional on-air conversation, Sheinelle opened up about coping with the death of her husband earlier in the year. She shared that Jenna had sent her “Brighter Days,” which brought her comfort during this tragic time in her life. During the segment, Sheinelle explained that the song helped her find love through the pain. Blessing then closed out the show with a performance of the new theme song, “We’re Shinning,” which he wrote and recorded. He later surprised the duo with personalized Gold plaques for “Brighter Days.” Check out the performance HERE and plaque presentation HERE.

Since the debut of his album My Tribe, two-time GRAMMY® nominee and multi-award winner Blessing Offor has established himself as an artist’s artist with a voice as bright and authentic as his personality. The album’s lead single, “Brighter Days” earned him his first RIAA Gold Certification and his duet, “The Goodness” with TobyMac, became his first #1. Blessing was then named 2023’s Amazon Music Breakthrough Artist and Pandora Artist to Watch and appeared on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Kelly Clarkson and The Jennifer Hudson Show. His long-awaited sophomore album, Real (2025), was created during a season of profound loss for Blessing, emotional wounds that led to 16 deeply personal songs. The album features singles “Jordans,” and “Somebody’s Child” with Dolly Parton. He punctuated the moment with two performances on Today with Jenna & Friends including his single “Lift Me Up” which has been streamed over 10 million times to date. Real is now available worldwide, and you can find him on tour here.
