February 11, 2026 – Trenton, New Jersey ... The self-titled project Cole Finn, a modern faith based project built around faith, surrender, and momentum during seasons of uncertainty. Written and produced by Nick Young, the EP captures belief in real time, addresses burnout, loss of control and what it takes to keep moving forward when clarity still hasn't arrived.
Cole Finn stands apart by refusing to present faith as a finished product. Instead, the EP speaks from inside the process, when plans fall apart, pressure builds, and trust has to become practical. The songs reflect a personal season of recalibration shaped by adversity, alongside a broader cultural moment marked by instability and noise.
“Turn This Mess Into A Message” serves as the emotional center of the release, reframing hardship as something formative rather than disposable. The song captures realization in real time, offering listeners a way to reinterpret struggle without minimizing its weight.
“Outta My Hands” brings urgency and contrast, pairing a modern drill-influenced sound with a forceful release of control. The track reflects the pressure of contemporary life and the decision to trust beyond exhaustion, not quietly, but with conviction.
"I've had my faith tested, questioned, and then reaffirmed in the last few years. That's the place these songs were written from. I truly believe G-d wants to use the mess we make as a message to others. This is my unfinished testimoney, using Cole Finn as my vessel." - Nick Young, Writer and Producer
The project’s sound was intentionally restrained and human. Production began with loops and textures from Splice, arranged and shaped in Logic Pro, with Suno later used to tighten instrumentation without removing emotional edge. Recorded in intimate, nontraditional environments, the EP prioritizes honesty over polish, leaving space for imperfection and reflection.
Cole Finn is not a separate collaborator but the chosen messenger through which Young delivers the music. This intentional separation allows the message to remain accessible and outward-focused, inviting listeners to find themselves in the songs rather than decoding the artist’s biography.
