NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Offering a vital reminder that “the world’s a better place with you in it,” acclaimed WieRok Records husband/wife duo Grace + Max return with “Better Place,” their second single of the year and most personal track to date. Written by the couple, the autobiographical ballad draws inspiration from the Hope they've found amidst Grace’s ongoing battle with depression.

On a mission to help others facing mental health struggles, Grace + Max are set to donate a portion of the proceeds from “Better Place” to TheHopeLine—one of the world's premiere resources for students and young adults in crisis.

“For the past 10 years, there hasn’t been a single day Grace hasn’t faced depression in some form,” Max Allard shares. “Yet through it all, the Lord has walked beside her. He has reminded her that what was meant for evil, He can use for good. He has never left her—and He never will.”

“I hold onto the truth that I am here for a purpose,” Grace Allard adds. “Life is worth fighting for, because Jesus died so that we may truly live. My story is just one of many, and that’s why we feel so strongly about ‘Better Place.’”

In addition to sharing their own experience via the song, Grace + Max have partnered with TheHopeLine to help others who are struggling gain access to an array of mental health resources. A worldwide leader in lifesaving crisis intervention, TheHopeLine’s live chat service is recognized as the country's #1 faith-based crisis line for students and young adults. Available 24-hours a day the free live chat is facilitated by a team of 52 highly trained Hope Coaches.
“TheHopeLine is proud to partner with Grace + Max as they share their music and their story with transparency and hope," says TheHopeLine's chief creative officer Jamison Statema. "TheHopeLine.com exists because everyone deserves to be heard and understood. When artists are open about their struggles, it often encourages others to reach out and take the first step toward hope.”
