LOS ANGELES (April 10, 2026) – GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter Jenn Johnson releases her new single, “Mad At God,” today, available on all streaming platforms alongside an official music video. “Mad At God” tenderly steps into the tension of faith and frustration, offering compassion for anyone wrestling with pain, doubt, or disappointment. The song acknowledges feelings of anger and unanswered questions while reminding listeners that God is still near, inviting them to let His love wash over every wound and remember what is true.

“I wrote this song in the midst of the pain and heartache of losing my mother-in-law,” says Johnson. “In the middle of the hurt—and the questions we may never have answers to—it’s okay to tell Him when we’re mad, when we don’t understand, and to let His love wash over us.”

The single follows Johnson’s previously released tracks from HAPPY, including “Here In Your Arms” featuring Brian Johnson and “Walk With Me” featuring Tiffany Hudson. The album is a deeply personal reflection that blends authentic worship with a country flair and pop influences. Featuring guest appearances from Abbie Gamboa, Brooke Ligertwood, and others, HAPPY reflects a longing to know God more fully and celebrates the joy found in walking with Him every day.

Known for her powerful, emotive vocals and heartfelt songwriting, Johnson continues to shape the sound of modern worship.
