NASHVILLE, TENN. / SEATTLE, WASH. (APRIL 17, 2026) — Singer-songwriter, author, and worship leader Tasha Layton has teamed up with fellow CCM artist Ben Fuller for a powerful new version of her song “Meet Me In The Valley.” Originally released on her latest studio album Life In Me and now impacting radio, this special collaboration offers a fresh take on a deeply personal anthem. Listen to the new version now.

“I’m so thankful to be releasing ‘Meet Me In The Valley’ with my friend Ben Fuller,” shares Layton. “Ben and I both understand valleys because of what we’ve walked through in life. My prayer is that listeners hear our testimonies in our voices.”

Written by Layton, her husband Keith Everette Smith, Jacob Sooter, and Meredith Andrews, the song was inspired by Layton’s own journey. It serves as a reminder that God meets us in our lowest moments, is present in every struggle, and is faithful never to leave us alone.

Ben Fuller adds, “I’m so blessed by Tasha’s heart for Jesus. It’s an honor to sing alongside someone who has experienced God’s faithfulness, even in the valleys.”

Building on the song’s message, Layton will soon release a special 30-minute documentary inspired by “Meet Me In The Valley.” Earlier this year, she stepped away from the noise of everyday life and spent three days alone camping in Death Valley, seeking stillness, clarity, and a deeper connection with God. What followed was a powerful and deeply personal journey. Stay tuned for more details on the film’s release.

ABOUT TASHA LAYTON: Since first captivating radio audiences in 2020, Tasha Layton has become one of Christian music’s most celebrated female vocalists. Her full-length debut, How Far, delivered multiple chart-topping hits, including the No. 1 title track “How Far,” the No. 1 smash “Look What You’ve Done,” and her breakthrough single “Into The Sea (It’s Gonna Be OK).” In 2023, her song “Never” ranked among the top Christian songs of the year, and in 2024, she earned her third No. 1 radio single with “Worship Through It (feat. Chris Brown).” In Spring 2025, Layton released her first live-recorded worship album, Worship Through It Live. Her holiday projects—This Is Christmas and the GMA Dove Award-nominated This Is Christmas (Live From Fisher Center)—have also become beloved seasonal classics.
Layton’s newest album, Life In Me, was released in October 2025 and features a dynamic collection of songs reflecting her walk with Christ, with collaborations from Chris Brown, Rachael Lampa, Colton Dixon, and Tim Hughes. Before launching her solo career, Layton appeared on Season 9 of American Idol and spent four years as a backing vocalist for pop superstar Katy Perry. She is also a published author with titles including the guided prayer journal Boundless: Moving Freedom From Your Head To Your Heart, Look What You’ve Done, and the children’s book A Big and Boundless Love. Tasha and her husband, Keith, share two children—Levi and Lyla—and reside on a farm just outside of Nashville.

ABOUT BEC RECORDINGS: BEC Recordings exists at the intersection of faith and culture. For more than 25 years, the label has amplified artists whose music has reached beyond church walls — onto Billboard charts, into film and TV, across major retail campaigns, and through sold-out festival grounds. Today, that mission continues with a current roster that includes Cory Asbury, Tasha Layton, Gracie Binion, Jordan St. Cyr and several others — artists carrying the torch lit by BEC alumni like Jeremy Camp, Hawk Nelson, Kutless, 7eventh Time Down, and The O.C. Supertones, who got their start or built their careers with the label. BEC has proven that music rooted in conviction can also dominate the mainstream conversation — and after all these years, that legacy shows no signs of slowing down.
