NASHVILLE, TN (May 13, 2026) – Robert Peterson and The Crusade have officially announced their first live concert performance, scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 8:00 PM at the Hughes Brothers Theatre in Branson, Missouri. The highly anticipated event will showcase the band’s powerful blend of melodic Christian rock, soaring guitar tones, and classic arena-rock influence in the heart of Branson’s entertainment district.

The announcement comes as momentum continues building around the band’s debut album, Change Coming On, and the breakout success of their song “Sometime,” which debuted at #2 on CRC Weekly directly behind Petra’s recent #1 debut.

One of the defining elements of the band’s sound is Robert Peterson’s use of the legendary Rockman pre-amp, the iconic guitar technology created by Tom Scholz of the band Boston. The Rockman became famous for producing the shimmering, layered guitar tone that helped define Boston’s signature sound and influenced generations of rock recordings.

“I’ve tailored the Rockman amplifier to my personal taste and have my own recording secrets, as well. We’d never try to sound like Boston and what would be the point since they’ve already done that to perfection. Even so, some positive influences like Tom Scholz will never go away,” commented Robert Peterson.

There is also an interesting parallel between Robert Peterson and The Crusade and the early history of Boston itself. Before Boston ever became a touring band, Tom Scholz spent years crafting and recording the music that would become Boston’s landmark debut album long before the group hit the concert stage. Much like that approach, Robert Peterson and The Crusade focused first on building their musical identity in the studio, developing their sound and releasing music before stepping into the live concert spotlight.

Fans attending the Branson concert can expect a high-energy, guitar-driven performance featuring music from Change Coming On along with additional surprises throughout the evening. Merchandise and souvenir items will also be available at the event.
