The journey toward this project began after an unexpected encounter with Israel Houghton that shifted the direction of Hanna’s songwriting. As the songs developed, Hanna and Houghton sensed a growing spiritual hunger emerging throughout the global Church.

 

“Whispers of revival seemed to be on everyone's lips,” Philippa Hanna explains. “We wanted to lean into that and were writing songs that would give language to the movement. What unfolded was a life-altering worship experience that left a lasting impact on all involved. Not only was the musicianship spectacular, but we felt the Spirit of the Lord was truly in our midst.”

 

Across 10 tracks, Magnificent carries a message of revival, salvation, and freedom through Jesus Christ. It is designed with tracks to serve the singing Church and those seeking a moment with God in their listening playlists.
