NASHVILLE, Tenn. –Emerging singer-songwriter Jenna Raine ushers in her next chapter of music with “What Would I Say?,” available everywhere today via Warner Records. Sharing another preview of her recently announced debut album, Jeans, Boys & Jesus, out August 14,“What Would I Say?”asks the universal question, “What would I say if Jesus walked into the room?” Written by Raine with Jason Ingram and Jack Riley, the powerful track reflects on her honest journey with faith as she wonders what the overwhelming emotion would feel like to meet Him face to face after feeling His presence through every high and low in her life.
“Someone once asked me, 'What would you say to Jesus if He walked into the room?'” shares Raine. “Honestly, I don't think I'd be able to find the words. All that comes to mind is 'thank you.' This song captures my love for Jesus and why I became a musician in the first place. Every day, I'm in absolute awe that God has given me this opportunity."
The forthcoming project reflects on life at 22 years old through positive messages full of faith, love, heartbreak, friendship, chasing dreams and growing up. Blending honest storytelling with catchy pop melodies, Raine captures the emotions and experiences every girl faces at some point in their lives, creating songs rooted in comfort, hope and community. Pre-save Jeans, Boys & Jesus here.
In addition to today's single release, Raine will perform at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville tonight (5/29) alongside hit songwriters and album collaborators Jimmy Robbins, Steph Jones and Ben Williams. The group joins Raine for a writers round to give the audience the first live preview of the forthcoming album.
Last month, Raineunveiled the first look into her next musical chapter with“It Takes A Village.” Written by Raine alongside Sasha Sloane, Nate Ferraro and Couros, the song highlights the power of friendship and family in the face of heartbreak. ABOUT JENNA RAINE:
Jenna Raine's songs brim with hope, heart and wide-eyed wonder. The Dallas-born singer-songwriter turns life's little lessons, moments of bliss and unforgettable memories into the kind of pop music you've got to sing with the windows down. She's tallied more than 466M total streams to date, fueled by early hits like “It Is What It Is” and her breakout smash “see you later (ten years).” The viral favorite, which exploded on TikTok and helped earn her a deal with Warner Records, first appeared on her major-label debut EP see you later — a project filled with hope, growth and a bright-side view of heartbreak. Jenna's breakthrough success has included performances at the 2023 MTV VMAs Block Party, recognition from Rolling Stone, Billboard and V Magazine, as well as two Girls' Life Magazine covers. She has collaborated with artists including Joshua Bassett (“Don't Let Me Down”) and Aodha´n King (“Still Worthy”), and supported David Kushner on his European tour earlier this year — all while continuing to expand her sound with her Only Started Growing EP featuring the viral hit “Roses.” Jenna closed out 2025 with the release of “Just 15” and “Talk of the Town,” alongside supporting Avery Anna on her The Let Go Letters Tour.
Jenna returns with new music this year, unveiling “It Takes A Village,” and “What Would I Say,” out now. Her new music once again showcases her signature blend of heartfelt storytelling, unforgettable hooks and resilient optimism as she looks ahead to her debut album, Jeans, Boys & Jesus, set to arrive August 14. With unstoppable momentum and a luminous outlook, Jenna Raine is poised to bloom into the new year — one loved-up ballad at a time.
