NASHVILLE, Tenn. (JUNE 5, 2026) Integrity Music’s Holly Brand is embracing her roots with her brand-new song, “If I Can’t Wear Boots.” Packed with personality and high-energy, the track is a fun anthem for anyone determined to own who they are, no matter the expectations around them. “If I Can’t Wear Boots” is available everywhere now.
“I hope as people listen, they can find relatability in being comfortable in their own skin and staying true to themselves even if others don’t get it,” Holly Brand shares.
Co-written with Tony Wood and Walter Halliwell, the song came together naturally after the trio shifted gears during a writing session and landed on the chorus idea that would become “If I Can’t Wear Boots.” While the song carries plenty of fun and personality, it also evokes nostalgia for Brand. Raised in Mississippi, she has long worn boots that represent more than fashion; they symbolize the journey from her small-town upbringing to her pursuit of dreams in Nashville, while never losing sight of who she is. That message of confidence and authenticity sits at the heart of the song.
Rather than making the music solely about herself, she always aims to create songs where listeners can see their own stories reflected back to them. With a growing social following and an authentic connection to her audience, she hopes “If I Can’t Wear Boots” especially encourages young women to confidently embrace who they are.

ABOUT HOLLY BRAND: Born and raised in Meridian, Mississippi, Holly Brand has always had a heart for telling meaningful stories through music that point people to Jesus. As the daughter of a former minister of music, she felt a calling to weave music and faith from an early age. Her musical journey began with her singing in a small country church and has since included opening for Blake Shelton at age 10 and, most recently, signing her first recording and publishing contract with Integrity Music in Nashville. Drawing from her roots, Brand infuses modern country melodies with powerful faith-inspired lyrics to craft a sound that’s new and unique, playfully dubbed “Magnolia Made.” Now based in Nashville, Tenn., with her husband, she’s been writing and refining songs for her debut project, collaborating with some of the industry’s top writers and producers, and sharing her heart on stages across the country.
