NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 11, 2026) — Syntax Creative has partnered with ChickPower Music, the thoughtful, faith-rooted independent record label owned by singer-songwriter, author and speaker Ginny Owens.

Founded in 2005, ChickPower Music is home to an extensive catalog from Owens, including worship recordings, acoustic releases, Christmas music, collaborations and songs that have helped define her independent creative work.

Written by Owens, Tony Wood and Sam Hart, and produced by Kyle Schonewill, “Greater Is The Cross” is a modern hymn that speaks to human regret without getting stuck there. The song moves through confession into release with honesty, framing mercy as a force that breaks the grip of shame.
