NASHVILLE, TN - (June 17, 2026) - Sunday Mornin’ Country returned this year with another memorable lineup of Country and Gospel favorites, bringing together legendary artists and rising voices for a morning filled with songs of faith, inspiration and hope. Held Sunday, June 7, the beloved annual event once again offered audiences a wholesome, family-friendly atmosphere rooted in music, fellowship and tradition.The 44th Annual Sunday Mornin' Country is in the books, leaving unforgettable memories for all who performed and in attendance.

Co-founder of the Music City Christian Fellowship and Sunday Mornin’ Country, Cowboy Joe Babcock presented Charlie McCoy with the Candlelight Award given to those in the Music industry who demonstrate Christian values, shining their light as an example by helping others along the way.

“I have been playing the Sunday Morning Country show since the Hee Haw days when Joe Babcock recruited me. I must say that I love the show and look forward to it every year!” exclaimed Charlie McCoy

In a heartfelt and unexpected moment earlier this week at Country For A Cause, Music City Fellowship honored John Berry with its prestigious Standing Ovation Award, celebrating more than 30 years of extraordinary contributions to the music industry. Presented as a surprise during his performance, the recognition served as a moving tribute to Berry’s enduring artistry, beloved career and lasting impact on audiences through decades of music and storytelling.

“Sunday Morning Country is a very special event. A chance to come together on the Opry stage and share songs and messages of God's Love.” Shared John Berry. “I am thrilled to be invited to be a part of this special day!!

Performers include Adam Warner, Aubrey Nicole, Cassidy Daniels, Charlie McCoy, Cowboy Joe & The Babcocks, Cutter & Cash and The Kentucky Grass, Dianne Sherrill, Holly Watson, Jimmy Fortune, John Berry, John McEuen, Joy Holden, Leon Everette and the Tennessee River Boys, Makenzie Phipps, Mandy Barnett, Melanie Walker, Mike Scott, Music City Quartet and The Fox Brothers and more. With such a powerful blend of country and gospel excellence, this is a can’t miss event that promises something for everyone, and attendees are encouraged to secure tickets early for this uplifting and memorable experience.

Sunday Mornin' Country is the longest-running Country/Gospel event during the music festival.
