After several years of silence and a growing stream of singles, The Emerging Sound releases their new full — length album "Jesus, the Light of the World," in partnership with People & Songs. What began as a call to prayer and remembrance has unfolded through revelation, renewal, faith, and testimony, and now resolves in a culmination of unified expression in worship. This album captures a collective response to the person and work of Jesus Christ.

At the center of the project is the focus track, "Praise! Praise! Praise!," led by Dove Award nominee Jonathan Lee McElhenny. Built around the scriptural declaration "Blessed be Your name," it calls the Church to worship in every season of joy, sorrow, victory, and trial, and to celebrate the unchanging goodness of God revealed through the cross and resurrection.

The project is carried by a diverse and powerful collection of voices, including The Emerging Sound founder, Dove Award winner, and Gold Certified songwriter Jennie Lee Riddle, alongside contributors such as Jordan Merritt and Cliff Preston of The Band Table, and critically acclaimed, award-winning, Billboard-charting Gospel artist Denita Gibbs to name a few. Each voice is a distinct expression, yet remains unified to reflect the heart of shared faith.
