Soul-inspired pop singer/songwriter, pianist, worship leader and producer Natalie Layne releases her five-song EP, Still Running To You, Sept. 9, 2026, via Centricity Music. Lead single and title track is available at streaming and digital retailers worldwide today (July 31) from https://natalielaynemusic.lnk.to/stillrunning, which includes pre-save and pre-order options for the EP. The new music celebrates the power found in the steady perseverance of faith over time.
Layne, a classically trained musician and Colorado native now based in Nashville, co-produced Still Running To You, recording the project with a live band of seasoned players in one room. The result fuses elements of '90s Christian music, gospel, jazz, funk and R&B into an organic, communal sound.
"There are still a lot of joyful songs, but also, it's just a more mature version of that sound. There are new colors for sure," reveals Layne. "I'm having more fun making music than I ever have in my life right now, and I think people will hear that, too."
The EP opens with "Big World," a horn-accented song that emphasizes connection and shared faith while "You Stayed" reflects on the value of remaining faithful for the long haul. The title track, "Still Running To You," co-written with David Spencer and emerging artist SOFYKA, closes the set and interpolates "Blessed Assurance," a familiar hymn that has become Layne's personal anthem.
"I want church kids to know their story is really meaningful," relays Layne. "Maybe it's not as much about what God has brought them through but about what he's kept them from. Every salvation story is a miracle, for sure, and everybody has the story they're meant to have."
Still Running To You is designed for listeners who are continuing to pursue Jesus, including those still working out their faith one step at a time. "I'm writing songs based on my life and songs that are real to me, but I hope they relate to everyone," says Layne. "Music is a great connector."

The new five-song EP follows Layne's full-length debut, All Joy, which introduced her joyful, soulful sound to a broader audience and produced the The Recording Academy-featured single "Grateful For" that notched half a billion impressions online plus the hit radio singles "Amen," "Fragile" and "Church Kids." Layne's growing profile has further garnered a Top 10 hit with "All Joy," a K-LOVE Fan Award nomination for Breakout Single of the Year and recognition as a Pandora Artist to Watch.
Taking her new music and fan favorites to summer worship festivals and more events next month, Layne also performed at Bonnaroo for her third time after headlining her first tour earlier this year.
