Song Declares God's Unchanging Faithfulness in the Midst of Life's Battles

NASHVILLE, TN (August 11, 2026) - Christian husband-and-wife duo Alabaster Grace has released "You Are Faithful" to Christian radio. Written by Joan and Brad Perry and produced by multiple Dove Award recipient Chris Bevins, the Christian AC track delivers a confident declaration of trust in God through seasons of struggle, uncertainty, and spiritual battle.

"'You Are Faithful' was birthed during a time of prayer and supplication when going through personal difficulties," Joanie and Brad Perry share. "From the beginning, this song flows with a sense of God's faithfulness. Although we experience times of struggle and even battles, we are victorious because of who we are in Christ."

That sense of battle and victory is woven throughout the song, both lyrically and musically. A driving, military-influenced drum pattern gives "You Are Faithful" a steady forward momentum as the lyrics move from weariness and conflict toward confidence in God's promises. Lines including "Stand firm and see salvation from on high" and "Now we are marching onward toward the prize / Fit with the armor of our King" reinforce the song's themes of perseverance, spiritual warfare, and the protection found in God.

At the center of the song is a simple declaration that anchors its message: "You are faithful / You are wonderful / You are God." The bridge builds that declaration into a prayer for God to "tear down the walls" and "move every mountain," ultimately proclaiming the victory of Jesus.

The song draws particular inspiration from 2 Timothy 2:11-13, including the assurance that even "if we are faithless, He remains faithful." For Alabaster Grace, that biblical truth provides the foundation for a song intended not simply to acknowledge hardship, but to remind believers who God is in the middle of it.

Producer Chris Bevins describes the song as a bold expression of that confidence.

Joanie Perry, Alabaster Grace's primary lyricist, initially penned the song, while Brad Perry developed the guitar parts, bridge, and additional instrumental ideas. The husband-and-wife team continued shaping the arrangement with Bevins, whose credits include work with Selah, Salvador, Jaci Velasquez, and Christine D'Clario.

The collaboration reflects the distinctive partnership behind Alabaster Grace. Brad, an award-winning former NASA rocket scientist who trained astronauts and worked on the International Space Station, and Joanie, a former educator, bring an uncommon combination of backgrounds to their Christian music ministry. Together, they create worship-focused music rooted in Scripture and designed to encourage believers to trust God more fully and live their faith with confidence.
