ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Christian hip-hop artist and ordained minister TRU-SERVA releases his new single, "Always Look to God" featuring Mike Teezy, available today through Trans4mation Records and distributed by FUGA.

Built around the conviction that God remains faithful even when circumstances feel uncertain, "Always Look to God" encourages listeners to develop the kind of spiritual foundation that can withstand life's hardest seasons.

The song's central message is simple:

"Always look to God who won't fail."

For TRU-SERVA, that declaration is more than a lyric. It reflects a lifelong dependence on God through adversity, fear and moments when the outcome in front of him appeared impossible.

Drawing inspiration from passages including Psalm 121:1, Hebrews 12:2, Micah 7:7, Psalm 141:8 and Isaiah 17:7, "Always Look to God" repeatedly redirects the listener's attention away from circumstances and toward the One TRU-SERVA believes remains constant through them.

The imagery behind the song is one of deep roots. When faith is firmly established in God, storms may still come, but they do not have to determine where a person ultimately stands.

That message is deeply personal for TRU-SERVA and is connected to one of the most difficult experiences his family has walked through.

"'Always Look to God' is personal for me because I've had to live it," TRU-SERVA says. "When my daughter was born, she was having seizures, and eventually the doctors told us there was no brain activity and that she wasn't going to make it. As a father, I wanted to fix it, but there was nothing I could do except trust God. We prayed, stood firm and kept our eyes on Him. This year we celebrated her 11th birthday -- happy, healthy and full of life."

That experience helped shape the perspective TRU-SERVA carries into the song: faith is not dependent on circumstances looking favorable, but on knowing where to turn when they do not.

"We're going to face storms, but when we have deep roots in God, we're not easily blown over," he continues. "My hope is that people hear this song, keep looking to Him and know that He won't fail. Whatever season they're walking through, I want them to know they can keep their eyes fixed on God and trust Him to help them get to the other side."

Featuring Mike Teezy, "Always Look to God" pairs TRU-SERVA's testimony-driven approach with a collaborator he already knew could complement the record.

"Mike Teezy brought a level of professionalism and a smoothness that really fit the song," TRU-SERVA says. "I've worked with him before, I know what he brings, and I appreciate him being part of this record. He helped bring it to life."

"Always Look to God" also serves as an important piece of TRU-SERVA's forthcoming full-length album, 30, scheduled to arrive August 30.

For TRU-SERVA, the song's placement within the project reflects something larger than an individual release. The album looks back across three decades of walking with Christ, including the victories, struggles and lessons that have helped shape both his music and ministry.

"'Always Look to God' is one of the foundational songs on 30 because the album reflects 30 years of walking with the Lord -- the good times, the struggles and learning what it means to live out the Gospel," TRU-SERVA says. "We know trials are going to come. That's why we dig deep roots in the good times -- through the Word, prayer and worship -- so when the winds and waves of life come, we're not easily blown over."

The release continues a significant season of momentum for TRU-SERVA. His previous single, "Somethin' On The Inside" featuring George Enzy, spent eight consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Christian Music Weekly Rhythmic chart, marking one of the strongest radio milestones of his career.

Meanwhile, "Put In Work" featuring Steven Malcolm continues its Christian radio campaign, earning airplay and support from outlets including NGEN Radio, ChristianHits.Net, The Effect Radio, WBFJ 89.3, WJLZ The Current, TiM FM and additional Christian rhythmic and hip-hop outlets.

TRU-SERVA also recently released "Don't Knock It" with One Step Moore featuring De La Cruz and Xay Hill, continuing a series of releases building toward 30.

Together, the songs represent different dimensions of a common story: faith expressed through action, transformation through Christ, perseverance through difficult seasons and a life continually directed back toward God.

"Always Look to God" was written by Marcus Montana, George Ensminger and Michael Tyree. The track was produced by Marcus Montana, George Ensminger and Casey Golden, with Golden also handling recording, mixing and mastering at Good Look Studios in Minneapolis. Jamie Nicholas created the cover artwork, while Marcus Montana and Maverick Montana served as executive producers.
