"My Only" is reminiscent of the symphonic and progressive metal torchbearers Within Temptation, Nightwish and Evanescence as Angioplasty's Zara King and A.D. Windblown Media Records labelmate Shayla Van Tassel's vocals weave back and forth with an ethereal ache.

"'My Only [feat Shayla Van Tassel]' is a reflection on how the vampiric allure mirrors our deep longing and hunger for God and Jesus' blood that brings everlasting life," Zara explains. "The track accompanies the listener on a journey from the darkness to the light as the mystery of God's love draws us closer and closer."

Musically, that gothic atmosphere is brought to life by synths and programming by Zara with supplemental synths, strings, drums and guitar from ADWMR label mate Asche Relesser of Autumn's Descent and Relesser. The result is dreamy and desperate, a song longing for God to close the distance between heaven and our personal hells.

The song is a worthy successor to "Surrender," which topped the Christian Rhythmic chart and then shot up the Christian Rock charts and remains in the top 25. It's also the first release since Zara King, formerly Zara Rinel, got married. Her personal and professional momentum continues to be marked by the grace that fills her music with the rawness of a rich testimony: her own journey from death into life.
