NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Two-time NSAI Songwriter-Artist of the Year and award-winning hitmaker Matthew West turns the lens on his own story with "Younger Me," out now. The deeply personal, solo-written track arrives as the final preview of his upcoming album, Jesus Is King, due Sept. 25.

With "Younger Me," West looks back on the moments that shaped his life and faith -- from finding his faith as a teenager and facing rejection in Nashville, to meeting his wife and building a family. Through it all, he points his younger self back to one truth: trust God through every chapter, because Jesus was enough the whole time.

On Jesus Is King, that same truth will take shape across 12 songs, with each track filling in the blank, "Jesus Is ____," to reveal a different part of who Jesus is and what that means for our lives. From His faithfulness and goodness to His strength, redemption and grace, West returns again and again to the declaration at the center of the record: Jesus is King.

Earlier this year, West celebrated his 39th No. 1 song with "Good," adding to a decorated career defined by his rare longevity and impact as a recording artist and songwriter. In addition to being named NSAI's Songwriter-Artist of the Year twice, West is an ASCAP Golden Note Award recipient, ASCAP Songwriter of the Year nominee and a multi-year ASCAP Christian Music Songwriter-Artist of the Year winner, with more than 375 songwriting credits to his name.

West's latest book, "Don't Stop Praying: The God Who Hears Is Just a Breath Away," a personal, Bible-based look at the power of prayer, is available now.
