NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 21, 2026) GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, artist, and producer David Leonard has released his new six-song EP, Well Done, on Provident Entertainment.A celebrated artist with a career spanning more than two decades, Leonard is also an accomplished songwriter and producer, contributing to songs recorded by artists, with his collective work reaching more than one billion streams worldwide. With Well Done, Leonard turns his attention to a collection of songs that have become deeply personal. Designed to be experienced from beginning to end, the six tracks carry a common thread of perseverance, mercy, and the faithfulness of God, all truths Leonard and his family found themselves living out in an unexpected way this year.

Earlier this year, Leonard's daughter, River, was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center after fluid accumulated around her heart, requiring surgery and a stay in the ICU on a ventilator. After 10 days in the hospital and steady improvements, River was able to return home. During those days, the Leonard family leaned on many of the same truths captured throughout Well Done.

"This record is for anyone who feels like giving up," shares David Leonard. "For anyone who wonders if they've wandered too far or fallen too many times to still be met by the mercy of God. These songs remind us of His faithfulness: even when we lose our way, He never loses sight of us. He has never left us, and He never will. He'll be with us through every mile, every failure, every victory, and every unknown, until the day He returns or calls us home."

That message is at the heart of the EP's title track, "Well Done." After more than 20 years of making music, Leonard admits there have been days when he has wondered whether it might be easier to walk away. Instead, he keeps finding songs placed in his path that remind him to keep running the race and keep showing up, serving, and loving people, trusting that faithfulness matters more than achievement.

With Well Done, those years spent writing, producing, and creating converge with one of the most personal seasons of Leonard's life, resulting in six songs meant to be heard as a complete journey and a simple invitation to keep going.

ABOUT DAVID LEONARD: David Leonard is a Nashville-based artist, songwriter and producer whose work has helped shape contemporary Christian and worship music for more than two decades. Across his career, Leonard's work has contributed to two GRAMMY Award nominations and 20 GMA Dove Award nominations. His solo single "Good Lord" was nominated for Breakout Single of the Year at the 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards, while Jon Reddick's "I Believe It (The Life of Jesus)," which Leonard co-wrote, earned nominations for Worship Song of the Year at the 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards and Song of the Year at the 2024 GMA Dove Awards.

Leonard co-wrote the globally embraced worship anthem "Great Are You Lord," which has become one of the Church's most enduring modern worship songs and has more than 360 million streams to date. His credits include producing music for Brandon Lake's House of Miracles and co-writing and producing MercyMe's No. 1 Billboard Christian Airplay hit "Then Christ Came."

After first gaining widespread recognition as one half of All Sons & Daughters, Leonard established a successful solo career. He is also a co-founder and creative partner at The Tabernacle, where his work spans songwriting, recording, production, and artist development.
