For Carson, the message behind "I Know A Name" is deeply personal. A cancer survivor, Carson was diagnosed with leukemia at just two years old and given only a 10 percent chance of survival. Following complications from a life-saving procedure, doctors told his family he would likely never speak. Today, the singer, once told he might never have a voice, uses it to point others toward the hope that has carried him throughout his life.

"I recorded 'I Know A Name' because I wanted to remind people that no matter what life looks like or what you may be facing, there is still power, hope, and peace in the name of Jesus," shares Carson.
