October 8, 2026 (Albuquerque, NM) - CCM/CWM newcomers Tommis & Company are bringing their modern rock flair to the masses with their new EP release, The Wonder of You, Vol. 1. The Albuquerque-based studio band laces their sincere and passionate worship songs with upbeat and engaging melodies. Tommis & Company's mission is to use these songs to usher listeners into the presence of God by focusing their attention solely on Him, evoking a sense of gratitude, praise, adoration, and consecration.
The Wonder of You, Vol. 1, the first part of a 16-track project, is ambitiously diverse, blending acoustic, symphonic, and rock elements to create a unique listening experience. The project has been divided into three separate EPs before being released together as a complete album at a future date.
"This album is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream and a burning desire I've had to express my love for music and my passion for biblical truth in a tangible and impactful way," says founder Tom Levan.
Tommis & Company began in February 2017 when Levan met Donn Halliburton in his On Fire Productions studio to discuss the possibility of him producing one of his original worship songs that he had written in 2007. Unbeknownst to both of them, having that song produced became the catalyst for this 16-track worship album project and the formation of Tommis & Company.
"I am so grateful to the Lord for giving me these songs and for leading me to Donn so that he could take them from conception to perfection," adds Levan. "It's been an incredibly awesome, rewarding, and wonder-filled journey."
"This has been an enormously gratifying project to work on; expansive with a depth of music and lyrics that glorify God in a biblical, yet relevant way," says Halliburton.
Besides producing The Wonder of You, Halliburton also played all of the instruments on the project and sang lead vocals on over half of the songs. Without lending his 30+ years of experience as an award-winning producer to this project, along with his talents as a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter, Tommis & Company, and The Wonder of You, wouldn't exist today.
The album's title track, "The Wonder of You," has special significance for Levan, who wrote all of the songs on the album. Ever since being a small group worship leader many years ago, he has recognized the importance and value of genuine worship songs with theologically rich, biblically sound, and Christ-centered lyrics that are focused on God and Jesus, which is the case with every song on this album.
The EP has already garnered critical acclaim from prominent media like Jesusfreakhideout.com, which stated, "With The Wonder of You, Vol. 1, CCM outfit Tommis & Company show that they're more than capable of producing songs that both glorify the Lord and display a natural talent for songwriting and musicianship."
The Wonder of You, Vol. 1 is available now on digital platforms, including Amazon Music and Apple Music.
To celebrate the completion of this worship album project that has been in the making for more than ten years, Levan is giving away a free copy of their debut EP to everyone who sends an email with the words "Free EP" in the subject field to tommisandcompany2@gmail.com.
