“My God” is about how isolationism is subconsciously applauded by our society, yet it causes so many personal problems. We are a self-absorbed community, believing we shouldn’t need others and should be able to stand on our own. However, when we withdraw like that, we become more and more numb to the human condition and our own emotions. We begin living however we see fit and smile as accountability fades away. This is treason of sorts, knowing fully where our loyalties should lie but serving ourselves instead.
