“On the first record, our favorite song was ‘Times’ and on this record I think our favorite song is ‘The Truth Is Who You Are.’ In Christian circles, you run into a lot of people that know a lot about Christ and they know a lot about Christianity and hot topics. They want to soak up knowledge and read books and at the end of the day, Jesus said ‘I am the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me.’ So we have to realize that Christ Jesus himself is truth, something that we can hold onto. A lot of times we search for truth in scriptures, but don’t come to [Jesus]. It’s just the idea that Jesus is really what sustains us. Jesus is the truth we’re searching for. So unless we run to Him first, all our knowledge and all the stuff we learn is just sort of puffing ourselves up. I love the message of that song.
