“We didn’t want to have any songs on the record that weren’t lyrically thought-provoking. ‘Get Up’ is a fun song, but it’s also focused on saying, ‘Hey! We’ve got things to do. We can’t just sit around and enjoy our big ‘ole massive churches and not be the hands of Jesus.’ If we are who we say we are, then we should have a burden for those out there and that requires action.
