In a more perfect universe, Starflyer 59 would have the same cult following and pop culture impact of The Cure and My Bloody Valentine. Leave Here A Stranger was the moment that the shoegazing band turned their attention to classic rock, and produced a stunner of an album that managed to create an atmosphere of introspection. Opener "All My Friends Who Play Guitar" has perhaps one of the best song titles in all of rock and roll.
