Strong Christian Overtones cover
11. I Want To Be Like You
Album: Strong Christian Overtones
Artist: Jeremy Shorter

Verse 1
I want to know the Truth
So I go to YOU, Lord
YOU always help me out
And I am never ignored
Well, the Holy Spirit
HE gives me peace inside
When I come to YOU YOU give me peace and joy
I know I won’t be denied

Chorus
I want to be like YOU. (Repeat)
The Holy Ghost, HE gives me the power to know what to do.
I want to have the Love
I’m gonna’ have some joy.
When I sit at YOUR banquet table, you tell me,
“Hey, here it is, now enjoy.”

Verse 2
When that good day comes
I will rejoice in Glory.
In YOUR Presence I’ll stay
Until YOU come for me
And in Heaven, I’ll be
Forever by and by
When it comes down to
Living with YOU
I know I’ll be satisfied!

Chorus
