(October 28th, 2026) - Acclaimed singer and songwriter Mary-Clair continues what has proven a busy breakthrough year by moving forward with a new sound, new look, and big plans for 2027. The 23-year-old Nashville native and Vere Music recording artist is currently hard at work on her eagerly anticipated next project, teaming with producer/songwriter Stephen Carswell (NewSong, Westover) to craft three original new songs incorporating a more alternative musical direction, fusing her signature vision of contemporary Christian pop with an early aughts garage rock energy that has always been among her favorites. Mary-Clair joins the Winter Jam 2027 Tour, Pre Jam, starting January 15th in Jacksonville, FL, running through March 21st, in Ypsilanti, MI. See full tour dates below and find more information HERE.
Mary-Clair has further reinvented her own image with a chic, low-maintenance short hairstyle, a bold personal statement that has been embraced with love and admiration from her fans across social media.
"I did it to show myself and other young girls that your looks don't have to define who you are," Mary Clair says. "That your appearance on the outside really has nothing to do with who you are on the inside. I just wanted to set an example that if you feel creative and you want to look a certain way, and it doesn't harm you or anyone else, you should absolutely have the freedom to express yourself.
"This is something I've wanted to do for a few years now. It's only recently that I had the courage to completely commit to myself and my artistry and who I want to be, and not let things like image and self-confidence hold me back. This is who I am, so why not?
"God gave me this creativity, and I feel like this is another way to love Him and show Him that my security is in Him and not what I look like. I will say, I've had some private messages asking if this a reflection of my sexuality, and I just want to be clear that there isn't any sort of confusion there. I'm one hundred percent comfortable in my heterosexuality and one hundred percent confident in my relationship with Christ. It's really just a way to love myself."
Mary-Clair will unveil her new music via Vere Music in early 2027; complete details will be announced soon. She will then introduce fans to her ongoing evolution as an artist and a person with a role on the highly anticipated multi-artist festival tour, Winter Jam, beginning in January 2027 and then traveling through March. 2025 saw Mary-Clair make an immediate impact as one of today's most compelling new artists with her luminous debut album, Enough, available everywhere now via Vere Music HERE. Hailed by V13 Media as "contemporary Christian pop music that goes beyond the traditional boundaries of modern Christian music…a sonic realm for listeners to feel significant, a musical place where they are heard, seen, and appreciated, especially young girls," the album fuses her relatable storytelling with incandescent melodies and modern-yet-timeless pop arrangements, resulting in an undeniably universal approach certain to inspire fervent emotion and personal action. Produced by 2x GRAMMY® Award-winning producer and songwriter Tedd T (Dolly Parton, for KING & COUNTRY, MercyMe), songs such as "Falling," "Red Eye," "Enough," "Your Love," and "Heaven In the Way" quickly amassed more than 7M combined streams and high-profile playlist placements on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music, and more amidst an array of critical applause and media attention including a cover star feature in BREAKOUT Magazine, and profiles in Nashville Voyager and Louder Than The Music, as well as visits to the popular Shawna and LaLa: Life Beyond the Mic podcast and WSMV's Today in Nashville, where she performed the uplifting Enough standout track, "There's A God" (streaming HERE).
Mary-Clair kept the momentum going in 2026 with "Rise Up," a summer anthem featuring Curb | Word CCM recording artist Steven Malcolm streaming now HERE. In addition, she continued to solidify her place as one of contemporary Christian music's most promising new voices with a diverse live schedule, including spots at Nashville's famed writers' rounds, performances of the National Anthem at a number of local and national sporting events, and show-stopping debut festival appearances both the 2026 Jfest Music, Arts and Lifestyle Festival in Chattanooga and the sold-out Harvest of Hope Family Concert in Mattoon, IL alongside MercyMe, Tasha Layton, and Sam Wesley. More recently, this month saw Mary-Clair continue a series of Nashville house shows, joined by Tyler Lamb, Tiger Run, Bothworlds, Sam Wesley, and Grace Graber for another free evening of live music and community.
Mary-Clair grew up in Nashville where she was moved to perform at an early age, thanks in part to her passion for such diverse artists as Michael Jackson, Queen, and Aerosmith, Christian rock icons DC Talk and Audio Adrenaline, and the more traditional gospel of CeCe Winans and the Gaither Vocal Band. By middle school, she was already getting serious about her calling, taking both voice and piano lessons while beginning to write songs in her journal. Her dreams began coming real in part thanks to Tedd T, one of Nashville's most esteemed producer-songwriters, a chart-topping, multiple award-winner known for his groundbreaking work alongside such diverse artists as Celine Dion, Mutemath, Tauren Wells, and Lauren Daigle. Together they set to work crafting a singular creative approach that melds acoustic textures and symphonic backdrops to showcase Mary-Clair's vocal power and deeply held faith.
Now, with her evolving new music on the horizon, Mary-Clair puts truth to her committed belief that pop and Christian music do not necessarily have to be incompatible, her own extraordinary life's journey enabling her to build a bridge between the two disparate worlds.
