Play Loud, Preach Hard cover
05. Mercy
Album: Play Loud, Preach Hard
Artist: Machaira

I lie awake in the darkness
Just waiting for the day.
My heart starts to cry out,
When will mercy come my way?
But the time passes slowly
And darkness lingers and stays
My heart keeps crying out
Lord, send mercy my way.
I think about this world we're in
So much suffering and pain.
If you listen you can feel the cries.
When will mercy come this way?
But the time passes slowly
And darkness lingers and stays
My heart keeps crying out
Lord, send mercy here this way.
Bridge
And I'll wait upon your mercy,
Like I wait upon the day.
For I know that you are faithful,
To bring mercy my way.
