One Day cover
02. Awakening
Album: One Day
Artist: Tony Serge

I’ve been sleeping so long
Stuck inside a dreamy haze
Going through the motions
I just want to see Your face

Every single morning
This is when I find Your grace
Break the rules of logic
Cover me in Your embrace

The dream is not dead yet
It slowly begins to awaken
My eyes are wide open
A picture of chains that are breaking

You’ve burned out the broken in me
I inhale Your glory
Pour out Your Spirit
With all of my breath I will sing
I’m exhaling worship
Breathing Your awakening
Your awakening

Visions of Your promise
The Father’s love encircling
Now the night is over
A new day is beginning

The dream is not dead yet
It slowly begins to awaken
My eyes are wide open
A picture of chains that are breaking

You’ve burned out the broken in me
I inhale Your glory
Pour out Your Spirit
With all of my breath I will sing
I’m exhaling worship
Breathing Your awakening
Your awakening

Maybe it’s only a dream
But I believe it’s a dream You planted in me
In a heart that was cold and so lonely
But what was buried in winter will bloom in the spring

The dream is not dead yet
It slowly begins to awaken
My eyes are wide open
A picture of chains that are breaking

Burn out the broken in me
I inhale Your glory
Pour out Your Spirit
With all of my breath I will sing
I’m exhaling worship
Breathing
You’ve burned out the broken in me
I inhale Your glory
Pour out Your Spirit
With all of my breath I will sing
I’m exhaling worship
Breathing Your awakening
Your awakening
