I’m willing to wait
I don’t believe in just fate
If we’re meant to be
I have to let you be free
Can’t force anything
To make your heart sing
“Now” is not the focus
Only time will show us
Chorus
Give me Faith that glows like a sunset
Clear my days of every regret
I need Hope that flows like April rain
Bringing life to a cold winter plain
And Love that burns like a fire
Frees my soul, fulfills my desire
In You, in You

Ain’t looking for beauty
I don’t want needy
Changing earth and sky
Still leaving my soul dry
Healing a broken heart
No false starts
I need someone to be real
Who feels just what I feel
Chorus
Bridge
It’s not infatuation
Not blinded by emotion
I don’t need a fixation
Flood me with elation
Chorus

Behind the Song:
Months after my separation, I decided to join my local church choir for more music therapy. I befriended a wonderful woman who happened to be the choir director -- April. In a divine twist of fate, being kicked out of my house resulted in meeting my soul-mate. April has been a rock in my life, by my side through all the craziness. She is proof that God can bring good and beauty out of any situation. I pray this provides hope for others going through the pain of a divorce.
