The ocean contains 99% of Earth’s living space.
The NOAA reports that 80% of the ocean has never been mapped much less explored.
And that doesn’t seem far-fetched when we spend a hundred times more on the exploration of outer space than our own oceans.
They have better maps of the surface of the moon than they do the floor of the ocean.
Scientists estimate that as much as 90% of ocean species have never been discovered.
