Introducing Ayiesha Woods cover
09. The Greatest Artist
Album: Introducing Ayiesha Woods
Artist: Ayiesha Woods

When I look around me
All that I see is the work of the greatest artist
Creation sings - reminding me
That you are the greatest artist
So won't you…

Take my life
Paint it right
On your canvas display the beauty of your light
’Cause I’m your tapestry
And your love covers me
You’re the greatest artist there will ever be

’Twas your blood that was shed
Crimson red
In an effort to save us all
So until this painting is done
Draw me under the Son
Cause it’s your sweet name that I’ll call
So that you can…

Take my life
Paint it right
On your canvas display the beauty of your light
’Cause I’m your tapestry
And your love covers me
You’re the greatest artist there will ever be

Everything there is was made by your hand
Won’t you make my life what you want it to be
Cause only you can…

Behind the Song:
"This song I wrote while sitting in a hotel room back in the late 90's. It was revised however, in 2005, when I changed the lyrics and melody a bit to feel more modern. I love this song because it's a creative, colorful description of my relationship with God. It's simply stated - He is the Greatest Artist! Picasso, Divinci, no no one else can compare and we walk through His gallery every moment we live." - Ayiesha Woods
