Behind the Song:
"Back in 2004, I received a booking request to come and be a surprise guest at a wedding out of the country! Apparently, the bride loved my music and having me as a surprise was a gift from the groom. I was honored! They asked that I do several songs. I am a romantic so this gig was special for me! I was excited and figured I'd try and write a song for this couple as a special wedding gift. Well, I wrote “The Only One” and sang it there for the first time acapella! When we were deciding on songs for the record, the guys at the label loved this too - so we cut it, and here it is! I can't wait to let the couple hear it!
