(Nashville, Tenn.) March 27, 2015-Critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter Matt Maher doesn't disappoint with his latest release Saints & Sinners as it debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Christian Chart this week. Additionally, his current single "Because He Lives (Amen)" dominated the No. 1 spot on Billboard National Christian Audience Chart attracting 9.9 million listeners.
"Because He Lives (Amen)" is one of 11 compelling tracks on the new release, all of which are receiving praise from critics across the board.
"Matt has done it again. His amazing capacity to mix soulfulness and spirituality results in great music that is good for your soul. He is the consummate songwriter, a triple threat artist and a marvelous human being. Bravo Matt!" -Dave Pensado, Pensado's Place
"I couldn't be happier for Matt's single hitting number one. His music really connects with our listeners and he's building quite a library on the Fish with his 8th hit song (not including Christmas). He's quickly becoming one of our core artists." -Mike Blakemore, FISH (Atlanta)
"Saints and Sinners solidifies Maher's presence as a thoughtful songwriter capable of crafting diverse but dependable music, and a performer who conveys a range of passions in a unique voice. The album will certainly appeal to longtime fans, but it has enough additional elements (church history, hymnody, collaboration) to widely broaden Maher's already robust listener base." -JesusFreakHideout.com
"Saints & Sinners is an album that reveals Maher is every bit a skilled musician and performer as he is a talented lyricist."-TheSoundOpinion.com
In support of the album launch, Maher has been touring the country on The Rock & Worship Roadshow. He recently embarked on a West Coast radio promotional tour visiting key stations in Seattle, Portland, Riverside and Los Angeles. When The Rock And Worship Road Show concludes on March 29th, Maher will have performed in front of more than 200,000 music fans.
Additionally, Maher will be headlining the Saints And Sinners Spring Tour continuing into the fall, featuring label mates I Am They and Jon Guerra.
