Thursday, January 5, 2017 — (NASHVILLE, Tennessee) – Creative Soul Records artist Gretchen Keskeys has just released a new video for her powerful single, “The Battle.” The religious anthem is featured on her 2016 debut album, “Walking in the Spirit” - available now at all major digital outlets including iTunes. WATCH "THE BATTLE” VIDEO HERE: https://youtu.be/zkdXS28Qosw A self-descibed “news junkie,” Keskeys found herself deeply troubled over the atrocities and horrors faced by Coptic Christians at the hands of ISIS. On one particular day, with no one coming to their aid, she cried out to God to help them. And he answered… “In that moment, He spoke to my heart that this battle is not one of flesh and blood,” says Keskeys. "It is a battle of good and evil, darkness and light. I went to the Bible and read Ephesians 6:11-12, which talks about putting on the full armor of God. And from there the song just poured out of me.” “These battles are not only found in the troubles of this world, but they are also found in our daily personal lives,” says Keskeys. "He fights these battles for us! And we fight them in prayer!" Produced by Eric Copeland and mixed by Ronnie Brookshire, “Walking in the Spirit” features an all-star roster of Nashville’s most sought-after studio musicians: Kenny Lewis on drums (Stryper, Brad Paisley), Matt Pierson on bass (Jason Crabb, Natalie Grant), Scott Dente on guitar (Amy Grant, Jeremy Camp), Dave Cleveland on guitar (Jason Crabb, Natalie Grant), producer Eric Copeland on keys as well as additional keyboards by Blair Masters (Megadeth, Garth Brooks, Steven Curtis Chapman). Keskeys is currently in the studio working on her upcoming sophomore album due this Spring. She had a busy 2016, traveling extensively to promote her debut album. She’s made numerous television appearances including the nationally syndicated “Babbie’s House,” CTN's "It's Time for Herman & Sharron,” Cornerstone Television Network’s “Real Life,” CTN’s “Bridges,” Dove Broadcasting’s “Nite Line,” WATC-TV’s “Magnify,” WREG-TV’s “Live at 9” and “Christian Music Spotlight.” Additionally, she’s appeared on popular radio programs coast to coast including “Game Changers with Lisa Faulkner,” “The Long Version with Fletcher Long,” “Kingdom News,” “Debra Evans in the Morning” and more.
