NASHVILLE, TENN - (10 August 2018) - GRAMMY-nominated Rhett Walker Band has released their self-titled EP today with Essential Records/Sony Music. The six-song EP features the debut single "Say Hello," and its follow-up, "Like Your Father Does," which Rhett Walker Band debuted on the Grand Ole Opry, their tenth appearance, earlier this summer. Less than two months later, Rhett Walker Band was honored to take the stage again, making their 11th career appearance at the famed venue. The band performed "Heavenly Home," a new song found on the EP, and the GRAMMY-nominated staple "When Mercy Found Me."

Rhett Walker Band EP is the follow-up to Come To The River (2012) and Here's To The Ones (2014). Leading up to the EP's release, coverage has been featured in outlets such as Christian Post and CCM Magazine and an upcoming interview with Nashville Christian Songwriters' podcast Song Revolution is set to go live tomorrow. Rhett Walker Band also penned a weekly devotional series for CBN's throughout the month of July.

Yesterday they performed "Say Hello" on Nashville's "Today In Nashville," which aired live on the NBC affiliate WSMV. Check out Rhett Walker Band's performance here

They are also three-time GMA Dove Award nominees (New Artist of the Year, Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year and Rock/Contemporary Song of the Year).

The band has also toured with the biggest Christian artists, such as MercyMe, Newsboys and more, and appeared multiple times on the Grand Ole Opry. Featured in The Huffington Post, Relevant, Parade, and on Fox News, among others, music critic Bob Lefsetz of The Lefsetz Letter stated, “If you like rock music, if you like power chords, dynamics, changes…if you like nodding your head, putting on an album and letting it play from beginning to end, putting you in a mood wherein the rest of the world does not matter, this is for you! ...And listen to Rhett’s vocal. Boy, this guy can SING! I didn’t have to play this album five times to get it. I didn’t have to tap my foot, waiting to be hooked. I was enthralled IMMEDIATELY!”
