NASHVILLE, Tenn. (U.S.) | BRIGHTON (U.K.) - - Acclaimed worship artist, songwriter and producer Martin Smith releases the single “Great & Glorious” March 8 to digital sales and streaming platforms ahead of an all-new, studio-recorded album slated for release this summer. Produced by Smith and Gabe Wilson (Bethel, Rock ‘N’ Roll Worship Circus), “Great & Glorious” is a raucous, Gospel choir-backed anthem celebrating the freedom and new life found in Christ. “Great & Glorious is the sound of joy,” says Smith. “If I were leading an army, this would be our battle song… that love conquers all and ‘wonder’ holds back the enemy.” Smith will share this song and others from the forthcoming album at a live listening party and film shoot in London on March 28. (Event details at MartinSmithMusic.com.) For three decades, the Brighton, U.K.-based Smith has been penning songs that bring fresh air to the lungs of the church, whether as a solo artist or a founding member of the ground-breaking band Delirious?. This includes favorites “Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble?,” “Waiting Here For You,” “I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever” and “History Maker.” Smith’s songs have connected generations and inspired and influenced worship leaders and worshippers alike.
